INK+WIT collaborates closely with clients and aims to solve the design problem with informative objectives and heartfelt intelligence. Results are innovative and driven from a place of contentment and ease.
Tara Hogan received her design and illustration degree at Syracuse University’s School of the Visual and Performing Arts. Immediately after graduation she went on to prop and style for Exposures Catalog in South Norwalk, CT (her native state) traveling on location with vintage chic props for home interior photo shoots. Building upon her passion for design, she worked as a web and print designer for many years in house until arriving one fine day in her own house running a one woman show. The show turned into a fine client list made up of branding ID, print and web projects in addition to licensing contracts with babysoy, American Greetings, Great Arrow Graphics, Graphique de France, Pinball Publishing, and Bella Figura.
Tara Hogan’s vision stems from understanding everything is connected in our life. Her design and retail business, INK+WIT, grew out of a desire and passion to create conceptual, organic, elegant and simple designs with an illustrative impression. With over ten years of experience and inspired by her yoga practice, Tara has made positive creative comminucation her main focus. Designing projects for Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary is one of her favorite ways to give back. She says, “what good are we if we cannot help? Especially the animals.”
INK+WIT designs have been seen on blogs such as Domino, dwell.com, Apartment Therapy, design*sponge, decor8, TimeOut NY, Dooce, and Real Simple.
